We got off at the stop for the Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven rose like a tiered wedding cake in the center of a square

Thick, warm air sifted through the barrier

In her hand was an Olympic torch

The Long Walk

Someone in the crowd said he was 102 years old.

Inspiring Olympics banners appeared at random throughout the city

flower displays everywhere

A row of topiary reminded me of the sporting aspect of the Olympics

“Dad, were those plants here this morning?”
